The Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB)

The Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB) is the main source of support, information and services for Canadians affected by vision loss.

CNIB is active in every region of Canada, with staff and volunteers working in offices and often traveling to provide support to people in their homes and in rural communities

CNIB supports and oversees research to advance knowledge in the field of vision health.

They provide programs and services, consumer products, research, peer support and a large library for people with print disabilites.
