Asha for Education Canada
Asha for Education Canada (AfEC) is a secular, apolitical, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to socio-economic change by supporting education of under-privileged children in India.
AfEC is run entirely by volunteers so that 100% of donations and funds raised go towards the education and development projects we support in India. AfEC has active volunteers in most major cities of Canada, including Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Kingston.
AfEC is the Canadian chapter of the parent organization, Asha for Education, founded in California, USA in 1991, now spanning more than 60 chapters worldwide
